Today on My SA News:
A thin line of severe thunderstorms packing high winds and small hail raked the San Antonio area Tuesday evening.
Brief but hard rainfall, accompanied by pea-size hail, was reported throughout the area as the storms moved from west to east about 9 p.m.
Police reported some traffic snarls but no major problems.
While the rain brought some much-needed relief to parched South Texas, it was not enough to keep the area from being placed under a red flag warning Wednesday until 5 p.m.
A very dry air mass will drop humidity into the teens. Combed with 15-25 mph winds, the conditions will promote fires that are difficult to control.
