Dozer Damage
This is what I came home to this morning after taking My oldest to the dentist!
Aghhhhh....... DOZER!
Bulldozer
Welcome Bulldozer
"Dozer"
He loves to get belly rubs!
We adopted him on January 17th 2009, but he was a heart worm positive dog and going threw treatment. So he had to stay at the Humane Society. He had his last treatment on the 28th and he got to come home with us Last Night.
So far he is adjusting very well...does not like the crate so we will work on that.

2 pounds
Well, I stuck to it , the eating part that is and lost 2 ponds this week! Which is good but, hard at the same time when you watch the Biggest Loser on T.V. and see the big numbers they drop. No I did not do any exercise at all this week... think that may have helped..oh well.
From Family doctor.org:
To lose weight, you have to cut down on the number of calories you consume and start burning more calories each day. Calories are the amount of energy in the food you eat. Some foods have more calories than others. For example, foods high in fat and sugar are also typically high in calories. If you eat more calories than your body uses, the extra calories will be stored as body excess fat.
Many experts believe you should not try to lose more than 2 pounds per week. Losing more than 2 pounds in a week usually means that you are losing water weight and lean muscle mass instead of losing excess fat. If you do this, you will have less energy, and you will most likely gain the weight back.
The best way to lose weight and keep it off is to eat fewer calories and burn off calories. If you cut 250 calories from your diet each day and exercise enough to burn off 250 calories, that adds up to 500 fewer calories in one day. If you do this for 7 days, you can lose 1 pound of fat in a week.
Makes sense!

The New Year 2009
Wow is this ever the truth! I got this in an e-mail reminder from my Yahoo groups Flylady.net....:
The New Year seems to be the pinnacle point for fresh starts. This is the year I'm going to: lose weight, get organized, eat healthier…name that tune. January 1st is the Promised Land of all Dates. It's the beginning of the beginning. The alpha point of the year. The clean slate promise of what's to come.
For me it's all the above! With Lose Weight as my Number one goal. I got the book put out from the Biggest Loser show on NBC. Now just to follow threw....
